Focus and Scope

Resilient Civil Infrastructure Systems (RCIS) aims to:

  • Advance resilience-based design and quantitative performance assessment of civil infrastructure systems.
  • Promote integration between advanced modeling, experimental validation, and real-world implementation.
  • Support lifecycle engineering and carbon-informed infrastructure decision-making.
  • Encourage interdisciplinary research addressing reliability, adaptability, durability, and recovery of infrastructure systems.
  • Bridge engineering science and applied infrastructure practice.
